Drifting - The motorsport phenomenon spreading around the world like wildfire, is stronger than ever in the South Island of New Zealand.

With five seasons past, Drift South continues to deliver the thrills, spills and adrenalin pumped action..

Season 6 sees the return of different track variations at Powerbuilt Tools Raceway in Christchurch,
And once again the awesome and challenging Levels track in Timaru. Unfortunately the high speed super slide section of Invercargill's Teretonga Raceway is not available to be included in the 2011/2012 season.

Changes...

The 2011/2012 Series brings a few changes to the organisation and promotion of the Series. With the founding organisers Kent & Ian Shrimpton stepping down and the reigns handed to the Canterbury Car Club and a number of familiar faces.

With any luck the series will still run as smooth as ever, with Kent and Ian always lurking in the background. We all thank you for your hard work to get the series where it is now!
