Driftsouth has grown from a bunch of friends who enjoy modified cars to what it is today by no easy means.
The road to being 'accepted' by MotorSport NZ and the racing community has been long and hard. But with the persistance and help of some keen drivers around the country, and the likes of Kent & Ian Shrimpton - migrating from a racing family to Promotion and management team, Drifting within NZ is now recognised as an official class of motorsport.
