Drift South Special Event- Truck meeting April 3rd
Author: Kent :: Posted: Mon Mar 08, 2010 5:30 am
We can now confirm the truck/drift meeting will be going ahead. This will be an exhibition event for 16 drivers only.

As this is the weekend after Teretonga, this will be free entry for the selected drivers. There will also be decent prize money up for grabs (up to $1000)

The day will be run with one warm up, then 4 groups of 4 will battle everyone in their group with the highest point scorers advancing through to the semi and the remaining twelve drivers battling for a knockout "plate" prize. ALL DAY BATTLES!!

To show our appreciation to our Drift South sponsors, the selected drivers will be Aden Omnet, Michael Ginn and then the top 14 drivers from the Drift South leaderboard as it stands right now. Understandably not all of the top 14 will be able to make it in which case we will ask the next driver down. If you are in the current top 20, let me know if you're keen and I'll either confirm your spot or keep you on a standby list.

We've gone from a drought to a rainstorm with drift events lately and it's probably a good chance to get out there in front of a new crowd.
More details to come but stick it in your diary!

Thanks

Good luck to all the drivers competing I give you all a gift..........

I give you all a position higher in the championship ha ha ha Wink well all but Glen as he's already at the top

Anyway I may pop over from time to time, as do have family here so I might catch with some of you when here, I will be back in a month or 2 to put the S15 in a container to take to OZ as I want to hit the Aussie circut, you never know i might just cut it over there

I've been told by a few mates living in Sydney that I may just go alright,..... time will tell but hey keep your eyes on the Aussie scene anyway, i'll be going out to make an impression with my entries Embarassed Rolling Eyes

Anyway folks its good bye for now

Gene

P.S. its still almost 2 weeks before i fly out so I may see some of you around.
