SORRY WE HAVE REACHED CAPACITY Sad - ENTRIES NOW CLOSED

Hi Team,
It's actually August 16th (Sun) I have booked for the Next Drift School, not 17th (Mon) as previuosly posted. This day will be run much the same as our other successfull schools. We will be running theory training again in the classroom for those newbies or if you want to just recap on the lessons. We will then move onto stations around the track and end up with 'free run" type sessions in the afternoon

Option 1: Full day with theory, cost $120, start time 9am. We will spend an hour in the clubrooms covering all areas from car set-up through to battle tactics and Drift South competitions. Just after 10am we will hit the track where you will decide which post around the track you feel you need improvement on and then under the instruction of a tutor practise at that post until confident. Posts will vary from first gear cone work to third gear corners with switching. Each post will be manned by a Drift South driver or two and they will advise you what you need to do. Near the end of the day we will open the track up for free-run sessions. PLEASE BE THERE BY 8AM TO SIGN UP AND SET YOURSELF UP IN THE PITS

Option 2: for those of you who have been to drift school or who have experience, cost $100- your day will begin at 10:00am when you will join the drivers from the morning session and involves track training only. PLEASE BE THERE BY 9AM TO SIGN UP AND SET YOURSELF UP IN THE PITS

The day will end around 4pm

All drivers must attend the pre-track breifing at 10:10. Please drive carefully to and from the track and take home all your rubbish and used tyres. All entrants may bring two support people with them but this day is not open to spectators. Respect the propety and use of the track.

Please post any questions here or PM me.

entry form attached. You can fill it out in microsoft Word and e-mail to kent@aboutsound.co.nz or print it out and send it to "Drift School" P.O Box 3035 ChCh

Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Just a heads up for all those entrants for the weekend,

If you are doing a full day with theory please be at the track by 8am- go to the Race Secratary's Office in main pits, sign in and pay. You can then set your car up in the pits and be ready to go to the clubrooms at 9am for your theory lessons

If you are doing track time only please by there by 9am- go to the Race Secratary's Office in main pits, sign in and pay.

All drivers must attend the drivers briefing in the main pits at 10am, full instructions will be given to you during the briefing.

Avgas will be available around 10:30am. There is construction going on around pitlane so you will be pitting in the main pits car park. Please ensure your support crew park away from the main pit area so we have space for all drift cars. There will be security on the main gate so anyone coming to watch won't get in.

Like last time we will do our best to run the day if the weather is going to be mean to us but I will check the forecast later in the week.

Thanks and see you all then

your 1litre catch can will be fine for drift school Cool

I can't remember who offered to help out with running the tracks but if you can help out please be there at about 8:30-9ish and we'll find a job for you. Let me know and I'll put your name on the gate.

I've got James, Brian, Mark O'Hara, Gene, Steve-O, Nick Shrimp, Troy etc already down

Thanks heaps
