SORRY WE HAVE REACHED CAPACITY, ENTRIES CLOSED!!!!

Hi Team,
This day will be run much the same as our other successfull schools. We will be running theory training again in the classroom for those newbies or if you want to just recap on the lessons. From 10am we will be operating 2 tracks with up to two cone areas. The B track will be running in full mode all day and the A track will be running with cone work on the straight and at the end of the sweeper. As usual you will be guarnteed heaps of track time on both tracks. Let's hope for a dry one this time!! Entries will close at 55 but we usually hit this number pretty fast so get in quick!

Option 1: Full day with theory, cost $120, start time 9am. We will spend an hour in the clubrooms covering all areas from car set-up through to battle tactics and Drift South competitions. Just after 10am we will hit the track where you will decide which post around the track you feel you need improvement on and then under the instruction of a tutor practise at that post until confident. Posts will vary from first gear cone work to third gear corners with switching. Each post will be manned by a Drift South driver or two and they will advise you what you need to do. When your confidence is up you can join the groups running from the B track which will be free-run style in groups of 10

Option 2: for those of you who have been to drift school or who have experience, cost $100- your day will begin at 10:00am when you will join the drivers from the morning session and involves track training only. PLEASE BE THERE BY 9AM TO SIGN UP AND SET YOURSELF UP IN THE PITS

The day will end around 4pm

All drivers must attend the pre-track breifing at 10:10. Please drive carefully to and from the track and take home all your rubbish and used tyres. All entrants may bring two support people with them but this day is not open to spectators. Respect the propety and use of the track.

Please post any questions here or PM me.

Entry form attached. You can fill it out in microsoft Word and e-mail to kent@aboutsound.co.nz or print it out and send it to "Drift School" P.O Box 3035 ChCh

Thanks

The finalised list is now up of all entrants.

If you are running a full day with classroom session, please be at the track at 7:30. sign up will be done at the portable offices by the fuel bay. Go straight there sign up and pay. Be ready to go to the Clubrooms (building to the left as you first drive into the pits) at 8:50am to begin.

If you are doing track time only please be at the track at 8:30. Sign up will be done at the portable offices by the fuel bay. Go straight there sign up and pay.

All drivers will get a full breifing about course layout, flags and rules etc which be done just before 10am outside the Wigram room. The B track will run in full practice mode (groups of 10) all day while the A track will operate the same way all day. There will also be cone areas operating for beginners. Please drive carefully to and from the track and choose your pitcrew wisely as you will be kicked out if one of your crew does something dumb

If you can help out with tutoring or marshalling please let me know and I'll put your name on the gate list.

Thanks

Thanks guys for your professionalism. Great to see most improving greatly throughout the day.

No hassles at all apart from the couple of tools that marked up the roads on the way home... one of which who I was lucky enough to spot and has now earned himself a drift school banning.

Cheers

I worked the speed event on the weekend. And yes, there was some pretty noticeable new ones on Hasketts road right up to west coast I picked up on on the way in/out.
